Vulcan Team At 7 Gen skate festival

This was the second year for the 7 Generations Skateboard Festival. It started in Langley BC in 2022. This year the event moved into Vancouver, BC. The wooden indoor skatepark was built in 5 days and skated for 3. Pros from across America and further came to skate on the Sunday PRO contest. There was a community skatepark inside the building that the public could skate. Some kids never left the community park all weekend!

Almost the entire Vulcan Bolts skateboard team competed at the www.7genskate.com competition last month. Eve Feaver, Ka’eo Kass, Caleb Nichols, Nina Aguilar, Riley Allen, Coby Sucre, and Jordan Meyers all skated the competition at the PNE Forum in Vancouver, BC.

We were super excited to get everyone together to skate at one time.

Jordan Meyers travelled across Canada from Windsor, ON to Vancouver, BC to participate in the event.

Nina Aguilar traveled up from Washington State to skate in the event. She placed 3rd in the women’s AM division. Her skateboarding was spectacular to watch all weekend.

Caleb Nichols traveled from Calgary, AB on a shoe string budget. Taking part in the Ramptime Productions set up with Adam Hopkins. Ramptime set up a Community skatepark that anyone who was in the building could session a mini ramp, quarter pipe and much more. We think some kids didn’t leave the community skatepark the entire day.

Ka’eo Kass came down the Sea To Sky Highway to skate at 7 Generations Skateboard festival. His infectious positive attitude was spread to all.

Eve Feaver flew around the course with power. Going into the halfpipe from the hip and out again. Eve had no problems getting speed on this course.

Coby Sucre came to the event with less than a weeks notice. He took the weekend off of his job to come and skate with everyone. We are glad he did. He competed with the AMs on Saturday. Capturing a 5th place finish and an invite to skate with in the PRO contest on Sunday.

Riley Allen Clerihue was all smiles all weekend. If you got to skate the course with his talent. You would smile too.

Huge thanks to the 7 Generations Festival for putting on a skateboard event inside during one of the wettest months of the winter. All weekend it poured rain outside, but it was a warm and dry session inside.
