Backyard bash recap

HMI Skatepark put on a hell of an event. The Backyard bash was full of skateboarding, food, music, and good times. The event lasted all day.

For a small entry fee, you got to skate the indoor park, new outdoor obstacles, and maybe win some free gear. Hippie Mike was on the microphone all day calling tricks, organizing events, and generally hosting an amazing day of skateboarding. When he saw something he liked, or when the crowd cheered, prizes came flying out.

There was also a raffle for everyone to enter. A couple of bucks and you could anything from a t-shirt, to an Andy Anderson signed complete skateboard.

We were happy to be sponsoring this event. Vulcan Bolts is about having a good time with your friends. At the Backyard Bash, everyone was your friend.
